It doesn’t come as a surprise that Binance is leading the market in terms of Hype. After all, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by market cap of $665 billion is Binance, as per the data provided by Coinmarketcap.
According to the latest stats shared by DataLight, a cryptocurrencies data analytics platform, Binance is the clear winner with no other exchange even close behind.
The exchange is the most talked about cryptocurrency exchange in the space further fueled by its CEO Changleng Zhao and its native coin Binance Coin (BNB) that has been seeing tremendous gains moving upwards even in the slow market. Through Binance Chain and Binance DEX, the exchange is further moving to increase its market share.
At 287, Binance is the “undisputed leader in terms of hype,” which is followed by Bittrex but given its figures at 33, it is no way near in Binance’s space rather sharing the crypto exchange space with other exchanges that don’t go above this hype point.
Bitstamp is the least hyped cryptocurrency exchange with 2 points followed by Poloniex at 3, Kraken at 4, and Gemini at 5. After this comes Bitfinex at 18 and Coinbase at 26.
Meanwhile, when it comes to the amount of trades, Kraken is leading the cryptocurrency exchanges. As per Coinmarketcap, Kraken is at 50th rank as per trade volume which is more than $52 million.
According to the DataLight’s stats, Kraken is at the front with $41.9 million traded amount followed by Binance at $33.8 million and then Coinbase at $32.5 million.
Recently, the crypto facility is best known for providing Bitcoin and Ether reference rates to CME Group that lists Bitcoin futures recently traded about $1 billion in crypto futures traded over the past month. The firm offers five products viz. Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash.
Other exchanges in the million dollars traded amount race but far back from the top ones are Bittrex at $4.5 million, HitBTC at $4.3 million, and Bitfinex at $1.2 million.
Gemini is at the lowest rung that has the least amount traded at $31,935. Phoenix and Bitstamp both registers the trading volume at $487k and $178k respectively.
